KANSAS CITY, Mo. Jaromir Jagr Jersey . -- Phil Hughes ended a personal losing streak that dated to last July, pitching into the seventh inning Sunday and helping the Twins top the Kansas City Royals 8-3 to avoid a three-game sweep. Hughes (1-1), who signed a $24 million, three-year deal in December, allowed an RBI single to Omar Infante in the fifth and a two-run homer to Alcides Escobar in the seventh while winning for the first time in 17 appearances. He had lost eight games since that victory on July 2. Josmil Pinto homered and Trevor Plouffe and Kurt Suzuki each drove in a pair of runs for the Twins, who battered Yordano Ventura (1-1) before piling on against the Royals bullpen. The loss ended Kansas Citys five-game winning streak. Hughes solid showing came after he had allowed 12 earned runs in his first 15 innings with Minnesota. The former All-Star had not survived past the sixth since July 13, when he was still a member of the New York Yankees and was facing his current team. It helped that the Twins staked him to an early lead. After they went 1 for 8 with runners in scoring position in a 5-4 loss Saturday, Plouffe came through with a double in the Twins first opportunity Sunday. His drive into the gap in right was enough to score Brian Dozier and Joe Mauer and give Minnesota a 2-0 lead in the first inning. The Twins added on in the fourth. After Suzuki walked, the Royals were unable to turn a double play on a grounder by Aaron Hicks. Ventura then threw the ball away trying to pick him off first, and a wild pitch put Hicks on third base. Eduardo Escobars single scored the run. Ventura was finally pulled from the game in the fifth, when the 22-year-old right-hander gave up a leadoff triple to Plouffe and a single to Chris Colabello. He allowed four runs on six hits and four walks in four-plus innings, a line that looks even uglier after two dominant outings in which he allowed a combined one run on six hits against Tampa Bay and Houston. The Royals bullpen, which had thrown 14 straight scoreless innings, never gave their offence a chance to get Ventura off the hook. Pintos homer came off Louis Coleman later in the fifth, and Justin Marks -- making his big league debut -- allowed three more runs in the seventh. Escobars two-run shot later in the seventh knocked Hughes from the game, but relievers Brian Duensing, Casey Fien and Glen Perkins made sure his long losing streak would finally end. NOTES: The Twins played with 24 players after claiming OF Sam Fuld off waivers from Oakland and designating OF Darin Mastroianni for assignment. Fuld is expected to join the Twins on Tuesday in Tampa Bay. ... The Royals open a four-game series Monday in Cleveland with RHP Jeremy Guthrie on the mound. The Twins are off before their three-game set against the Rays. ... The Twins left 11 on base. The Royals stranded eight. T.J. Oshie Jersey . - The situation looked bleak at best for the coach Doc Rivers Clippers -- down by four points with 18 seconds left in the fourth quarter. Ilya Samsonov Jersey . Neither striker Demba Ba nor Fernando Torres came close to scoring as Chelsea was left unsuccessfully appealing for penalties in this drab penultimate game of the season. "Our strikers are good strikers, no doubt about that, but players with some specific qualities," Mourinho said. http://www.capitalsauthority.com/authentic-alex-ovechkin-capitals-jersey/ .com) -  The Toronto Maple Leafs will try to play spoiler as the Los Angeles Kings will try to match their longest winning streak in over four years in Thursdays battle at Staples Center. FRANKFURT, Germany -- Hoffenheim scored three goals in quick succession late in the first half to beat Wolfsburg 6-2 in the Bundesliga on Sunday and dent its hopes of qualifying for the Champions League. In the late match, Alexander Meier scored in the 89th minute to give Eintracht Frankfurt a 2-1 comeback victory over Stuttgart, which fell to its eighth consecutive defeat and is now one place above the danger zone. Hoffenheim is the third highest scoring team in the Bundesliga after Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund and it took only four minutes for Roberto Firmino to put the host side ahead with a perfectly weighted lob. Bas Dost equalized for Wolfsburg in the 15th with a header. Niklas Suele began the three-goal flurry with a header in the 37th. Anthony Modeste then scored twice, with a low shot in the 39th and a header in the 43rd. Ivan Perisic pulled one back for Wolfsburg, before the home side struck twice more. Sejad Salihovic converted a penalty and Sven Schipplock completed the win. Wolfsburg finished with 10 men, after Christian Traesch was sent off in the 80th for a foul on Kevin Vollland that resulted in the penalty. Madison Bowey Jersey. Hoffenheim, undefeated in five games, ended Wolfsburgs run of four consecutive wins and prevented the visiting team from overtaking fourth-place Schalke. Wolfsburg remained fifth and Hoffenheim 10th. In Frankfurt, Stuttgart went ahead in the 31st minute after Eintracht lost possession in midfield. Alexandru Maxim found Martin Harnik on the left and the midfielder slotted low inside the near post. Stuttgarts goalkeeper Sven Ulreich went on to make several outstanding saves, including a one-handed tip-away from a header by Stefan Aigner. But it was his kick-in that resulted in Frankfurts equalizer in the 80th through substitute striker Jan Rosenthal. Marco Russ headed the ball from the centre circle back into Stuttgarts half and Rosenthal raced through to slot past Ulreich. Eintracht secured the win in the 89th when Johannes Flum slipped the ball through the legs of Georg Niedermeier and squared it back for Meier, who drove it home with a low shot. Eintracht jumped to 12th place and is six points away from the relegation playoff place. ORCHARD PARK, N. Josh Sweat Eagles Jersey .Y. - Its no secret to Fred Jackson that the Buffalo Bills have struggled running the ball this season.Little did the veteran running back realize how historically bad the production has been. Jackson was taken aback when informed the Bills are in jeopardy of setting a franchise-low over a 16-game season heading into their final game at New England (12-3) on Sunday.Well, then lets make sure that doesnt happen, Jackson said. Its a number that provides added incentive in a game Buffalo (8-7) has very little to play for after being eliminated from playoff contention following a 26-24 loss at Oakland last week.Thats not something you want on your resume, he said. The teams once-formidable ground attack has been slowed to a crawl. With 1,378 yards rushing, the Bills are 174 yards short of matching the teams 16-game low of 1,552 yards in 2006. That wont be easy for an offence that hasnt topped 120 yards rushing since gaining 193 in its season-opener at Chicago. This years production is a significant drop-off for a Jackson- and C.J. Spiller-led backfield that finished second in the NFL last season with 2,307 yards rushing -- the teams best output since 1992. Then there was two years ago, when Spiller had a career-best 1,244 yards and finished second in the NFL by averaging a more than 6 yards per carry.I dont have the answer as to what and why we havent been able to run the ball the way that we are accustomed to, Jackson said. Were sitting here frustrated because we havent lived up to what we thought we were capable of doing. The Bills ground game has been so bad that the team has not had an individual player reach 100 yards rushing so far this year. The Bills have gone an entire season without a 100-yard rusher only three times, the last in 1979.And, Buffalo is coming off a game in which it managed 13 yards rushing -- the fourth lowest total in team history.Injuries have been an issue. Jackson missed two games with a groin injury and has also been bothered by a sore knee. Spiller broke his collarbone and missed seven games before returning last week.Centre Eric Wood said the offensive line hasnt done its part either.Really no excuses other than a lack of execution, Wood said. And a lot of that falls on us up front.Coach Doug Marrone is particularly disappointed by the play of his line. He is considering spending the off-season starting from scratch and retraining the unit.Buffalos running game could be in store for an off-season upheaval.Though Jackson has one more year left on his contract, Spillers future is uncertain. The Bills 2010 first-round draft pick is eligible to become an unrestricted free agent if he declines to pick up the option on the final year of his contract.Only time will tell, Spiller said, when asked if hes made a decision. I aint really focusing on that. Im just focusing on the Patriots. Its unclear what Spillers value might be in free agency because of the time he missed this season.Spiller discounted that as being a factor, saying he established his value in the previous four years.NOTES: DT Marcell Dareus missed practice because of a right knee injury and its uncertain whether he will play Sunday. ... CB Stephon Gilmores status is also uncertain because he is being monitored for a concussion. ... The Bills are off Thursday before returning to practice Friday.___AP NFL website: www.pro32.ap.org and www.twitter.com/AP_NFL Josh Sweat Jersey .com) - Will Conant booted a 39-yard field goal as time expired and Air Force played spoiler with a 27-24 win over 21st- ranked Colorado State on Friday. General manager Ray Shero says Letang has been cleared by team doctors. He says it was the 26-year-old Letangs decision whether to play again this season. Letang hasnt played since Jan. 27. He suffered the stroke two days later. TTests revealed a small hole in his heart, which doctors say could have contributed to the stroke. Michael Bennett Jersey. The hole hasnt been repaired, but Shero says the team is confident playing hockey didnt cause Letangs stroke. Randy Carlyle was less than pleased with his teams most recent effort, and he hopes to see a better effort when his Toronto Maple Leafs host the rebuilding Buffalo Sabres in Tuesdays clash at Air Canada Centre. Mike McGlinchey Jersey . Viewers in the Leafs region can catch the game on TSN4 starting at 7:30pm et/4:30pm pt. You can also listen to the game on TSN Radio 1050. Toronto fell to 3-4-1 on the season after losing 4-1 in Saturdays home test against the Boston Bruins. It was the Maple Leafs third loss in four games and dropped the clubs home record this season to 1-4-0. The head coach made sure his feelings were known following another disappointing effort from his troops. Frustration, anger ... that is the two things that were front-and-center from a coaching staffs perspective, Carlyle said. Toronto fell behind 1-0 just 3:27 into the game and the Bruins would build the lead to four goals before Richard Panik finally got the Leafs on the board with 5:33 remaining in the third period. We didnt win too many battles early in the hockey game, said Carlyle. Probably for the first 30 minutes we didnt move our feet and execute. It was like the Bruins had the puck and we struggled to get it back. Jonathan Bernier stopped 21-of-25 shots before being pulled in the third period. Bernier will get the start tonight. Toronto hopes to take advantage of a young Sabres team that is just 2-7-0 on the season and has been outscored by a 29-11 margin so far in 2014-15. Buffalo, however, is coming off a victory, notching a 2-1 road win Saturday in San Jose. The Maple Leafs won three of five meetings against Buffalo last season and has claimed five of the last eight tests in this series. The Sabres have dropped four straight and nine of their past 10 games at Air Canada Centre. Buffalo had been shut out three times during a four-game slide before coming through with Saturdays surprising win over the Sharks. Michal Neuvirth made 29 saves to earn his first win of the season and Nicolas Deslauriers netted the deciding goal early in the third period to help the Sabres win for the first time since Oct. 14 at Carolina. Its a huge win for me and everybody on this team. We worked really hard for this, Neuvirth offered. Cody Hodgson also lit the lamp in the final stanza for the Sabres, who hope to win two straight for the first time since last February when they close out a four-game road trip tonight. Neuvirth will get the start again tonight. He is 1-2-0 with a 3.02 goals against average this season and 5-3-1 with a 2.96 GAA in 11 career games versus Toronto. LOUIS -- David Ross never expected to be on a World Series podium.SAN DIEGO -- In what has been an emotional stretch for the San Diego Padres they have played their best baseball. The Padres ninth-inning rally on Friday night produced a 6-5 victory over the Los Angeles Dodgers, their third straight victory. "This has been a tough week for San Diego," Padres manager Bud Black said. "When you look at the whole week, it has been more so than just the game. This was a good win for the city." Hall of Famer and Padres icon Tony Gwynn died Monday at age 54 after a long battle with cancer. The team has been struggling with the emotional aftermath since. But after returning home Tuesday, the Padres havent lost. With Gwynns No. 19 etched in right field, the Padres came back to beat the Mariners twice and added another thrilling win against Dodgers closer Kenley Jansen (0-3). "Its unacceptable to pitch a game like that," Jansen said. Everth Cabreras sacrifice fly capped San Diegos three-run ninth. "When I hit the fly ball I celebrate like it was a walk-off bomb," Cabrera said. "Especially against the Dodgers with all their fans from L.A. here." It was the Padres third consecutive win and it snapped a three-game winning streak by the Dodgers. Trailing 5-3, Alexi Amarista opened the San Diego ninth with a single off Jansen and scored on Carlos Quentins pinch-hit double. Venable tied the game when his double scored pinch-runner Andrew Cashner. Venable took third on Rene Riveras sacrifice and scored on Cabreras deep fly to right. "The last three days, we played real baseball," Cabrera said. Dale Thayer (3-2) pitched the ninth for the victory. Yasiel Puig, who had two RBIs for the Dodgers, left in the eighth inning with a mild left hip muscle strain. Seth Smith homered twice, doubled and walked for the Padres. It was Smiths sixth multi-homer game of his career. "I came in early and worked on some things," Smith said. "Its fun when you put in the work and you see the results." The Padres bullpen, which has been strong all season, tthrew four scoreless innings to keep the game close. Jimmie Ward Jersey. "All year long those guys have done their thing," Black said. After Smiths second homer in the sixth, the Padres had the tying runs aboard when Cameron Maybin reached on a fielders choice and Amarista walked. But Jace Peterson struck out to end the threat. The Dodgers scored three times in the fifth, aided by two wild pitches and an error by Amarista at third base. With runners in scoring position and the infield playing up, Puig hit a one-out grounder between third and shortstop which deflected off the gloves of Amarista and Cabrera into short let field to score Dee Gordon. Amarista retrieved the ball and when his throw home was wide, Hanley Ramirez scored on the error. Puig advanced to third on the play and scored on Adrian Gonzalezs sacrifice fly for a 5-1 lead. Gordon opened the game with a triple and scored on Petersons errant relay throw to third. Later in the inning Gonzalez doubled and Matt Kemp drove him in with a base hit to left off Amaristas glove for a 2-0 lead. Smith homered to right-centre in the first to bring the Padres within 2-1. "There are always close games with these guys," Dodgers manager Don Mattingly said. "To me, they are one of those clubs that are tough to beat." NOTES: The National Baseball Hall of Fame requested Clayton Kershaws cleats from his Wednesday no-hitter. Kershaw said his accomplishment has started to sink in. "I couldnt sleep very well that night obviously, then the next day to turn on the TV and hear about it was pretty cool stuff." ... Dodgers OF Carl Crawford (left ankle sprain) is still unable to do baseball activities, Mattingly said. ... Padres 3B Chase Headley was out of the lineup with a sore back. ... ARLINGTON, Texas -- Jake Odorizzi wasnt shaken by the only run-scoring hit he gave up to the Texas Rangers. Drew Stafford Jersey . The young right-hander had quite the answer and helped keep an impressive road pitching streak going for the Tampa Bay Rays. Odorizzi retired the final 10 hitters after allowing a home run, Evan Longoria homered and drove in three runs and the Rays beat the Texas Rangers 6-3 Thursday night. "The guys confident," manager Joe Maddon said of his 24-year-old pitcher. "Hes swaggering out to the mound, and swaggering back in. The whole group is confident. Theyre not braggish about it, just businesslike in a confident way." And they have the numbers to back it up, with Odorizzi striking out seven in seven innings to help give the Rays their AL-record 18th consecutive road game without allowing more than three runs. Odorizzi (9-9) was the starter the last time Tampa Bay gave up more than three runs -- the last home game before the 10-game trip that just ended with the Rays taking three of four from the Rangers. He gave up five runs in a 7-5 loss to the Los Angeles Angels on Aug. 3. Following up six shutout innings in a win at the Chicago Cubs, Odorizzi didnt allow another baserunner after Geovany Sotos first homer of the season to pull the Rangers within 4-2. "Ive been growing a lot since the first part of the season," Odorizzi said. "I found out a lot about myself." Jake McGee pitched a perfect ninth for his 13th save in 14 chances, getting the Rays within three games of the major league record for consecutive road games with three runs or fewer allowed held by the 1908 Cubs. Robbie Ross (2-5) came up from Triple-A Round Rock to fill in for Texas ace Yu Darvish, who is sidelined with elbow inflammation. The left-hander gave up six runs in 4 1-3 innings. Ross started the season in the Texas rotation after spending two years as a reliever. He struck out the side in the first but then looked a lot like the pitcher who was sent back to the bullpen in May not long after giving up 30 runs -- 23 earned -- in 26 2-3 innings over five starts. "I just started maybe being a little too fine and trying to pick around the zone instead of just going right at them like I was in the beginning," Ross said. THE TWO-RUN BLOWS Longorias team-leading 15th homer was a two-run shot that gave the Rays a 6-2 lead in the fifth. Logan Forsythe matched a career high with three hits and put the Rays in front to stay with his two-run homer in the second. It came on an 0-2 pitch after Yunel Escobar reached with two outs on an infield hit when third baseman Adrian Beltre barehanded the slow roller but threw wide to first. EFFICIENT RAYS Tampa Bay followed Forsythes go-ahead homer with an efficient third inning that gave the Rays a 4-0 lead. Brandon Guyer stole second with two outs after an earlier single and came home when Longoria hit a soft liner over Elvis Andrus head into left-centre field. After moving up on a wild pitch, Longoria scored on a single by James Loney. TRAINERS ROOM Rays: CF Desmond Jennings (shoulder) wasnt in the lineup for the second game after running into the wall Tuesday. ... RF Wil Myers (fractured right wrist) could return from a rehab assignment at Triple-A Durham during next weeks series against Detroit. Rangers: An MRI showed that Darvishs elbow inflammation is not a long-term concern, but theres no timetable for his return. He will miss at least two starts and will resume throwing when the tightness eases. UP NEXT Rays: Tampa Bay goes home to face the New York Yankees in the first of 32 consecutive games against teams currently in playoff contention. RHP Alex Cobb (7-6, 3.41) goes for his sixth straight win, opposing Yankees RHP Brandon McCarthy (4-1, 2.21 with New York). Rangers: RHP Nick Martinez (2-8, 5.22) opens a weekend series against the Los Angeles Angels after snapping a 10-start winless streak by beating Houston his last time out. It was the longest such streak for a Texas starter since R.A. Dickey went 11 starts without a win in 2004-05 Kyle Palmieri Jersey . Josh Mazzola drove in five runs to lead the Goldeyes (20-12) past the Capitales 11-5 Friday night at Le Stade Municipal in Quebec City. Nico Hischier Jersey . Lawrie was hit on the hand by Cincinnati pitcher Johnny Cueto in the second inning of Sundays 4-3 loss to the Reds. http://www.devilsauthority.com/authentic-pavel-zacha-devils-jersey/ .Manager Brendan Rodgers told the Liverpool Echo on Friday that Sturridge pulled his calf muscle in training as he prepared to return from a five-week layoff due to a thigh strain. The CFLs ninth franchise - the Ottawa Redblacks - completed their expansion draft on Monday in Ottawa. The first round of picks featured eight import players and was highlighted by Calgary Stampeders quarterback Kevin Glenn. Glenn, a Detroit native, has played 13 years in the league for the Stampeders, Saskatchewan Roughriders, Winnipeg Blue Bombers and Hamilton Tiger-Cats. He was a CFL East All-Star in 2007, and is currently 10th on leagues list of all-time leading passers with 36,666 yards. "Kevin has been a great contributor to our success the past two seasons and we wish him the best in Ottawa," said Stampeders head coach and general manager John Hufnagel in a statement. "Kevin was a true professional on and off the field and I thank him for all the great things he has done for us. "Were sad to see Kevin go, but were confident that our quarterback situation is in good hands with Drew Tate and Bo Levi Mitchell, who benefitted a great deal from having been Kevins teammate these past two years." The Redblacks also selected quarterback Thomas DeMarco, defensive linemen Moton Hopkins and Jonathan Williams, Receivers Wallace Miles and Carlton Mitchell, offenive lineman James Lee and running back Chevon Walker in the first round. DeMarco has played for the BC Lions the last two seasons. "Our philosophy getting into this is to take the best players, it wasnt going to be a function of offence or defence," Redblacks general manager Marcel Desjardins told reporters. "Really, were sticking to that philosophy." "It became a function of having two guys that we felt were the best quarterbaccks available that were not going to be free agents," Desjardins told reporters. John Moore Jersey. "Thats a key component for us. "Obviously Kevin is very familiar with what were going to want to do offensively, which is a bonus. And we also have a combination of veteran leadership and younger players so we have all the elements in place that we think are going to help us be a strong team, specifically at that position." Walker, who has played two seasons for the Tiger-Cats, will likely be the feature back in Ottawa. Hopkins spent three seasons in the league, two in Montreal and one in Winnipeg, and Williams spent his two seasons playing for the Lions and Toronto Argonauts. Miles spent his two seasons in Winnipeg and Mitchell spent his this past season, his first, in Edmonton. Lee played this past season, his only in the CFL, with the Saskatchewan Roughriders. The second round allowed the team to select eight non-import players. The picks were: Offensive linemen Joe Eppelle (Toronto), Alexandre Kruasnick (Edmonton), JMichael Deane (Calgary), and Matt Albright (BC), as well as fullbacks John Delahunt (Hamilton) and Patrick Lavoie (Montreal), linebacker James Green (Winnipeg) and defensive lineman Keith Shologan (Saskatchewan). The third and final round allowed Ottawa to select eight more non-import: linebacker Jordan Verdone (Montreal), linebacker Jason Pottinger (Toronto), centre Marwan Hage (Hamilton), receiver Rory Kohlert (Winnipeg), defensive tackle Zack Evans (Saskatchewan), defensive end Justin Capicciotti (Edmonton), safety Eric Fraser (Calgary), and defensive tackle Andrew Marshall (BC). With the NHL Draft coming up on June 27 and free agency opening on July 1, discussions between NHL general managers are heating up towards a busy off-season. Cam Ward Jersey . Each day, TSN.ca provides the latest rumours, reports and speculation from around the NHL beat. Defensive Depth TSN Hockey Insider Pierre LeBrun is reporting the Toronto Maple Leafs have considerable interest in unrestricted free-agent defenceman Dan Boyle. LeBrun says one source believes Torontos interest is "serious." The Detroit Red Wings and New York Rangers are also interested in the services of the 37-year-old. LeBrun says the New York Islanders still remain an option with the Montreal Canadiens likely out of the running after re-signing Andrei Markov. TSN Hockey Insider Darren Dreger reported on the following issues: Patience is a Virtue Minnesota Wild forward Dany Heatley and former Tampa Bay Lightning forward Ryan Malone may have to be patient in free agency according to Dreger. Dreger says their willingness to take one-year contracts will draw attention from more teams. The Lightning used their second compliance buyout on Malone on Wednesday while Heatley will become an unrestricted free-agent on July 1. Draft Talk Conversation regarding the Florida Panthers first overall pick should heat up Thursday ahead of Fridays NHL Entry Draft. If offers for the top pick dont improve, Florida intends to hold on to it. Canucks Complex Dealings The Vancouver Canucks are still trying to trade Ryan Kesler but this is a complicated negotiation. Its believed Kesler has identified just two teams in the Chicago Blackhawks and Anaheim Ducks. That puts rookie general manager Jim Benning and the management of the Canucks in a tough spot because theyre just negiotioation with the two teams. Maybe its possible that the Canucks try to pull in their horns in an effort to encourage Kelser to expand his list. Blackhawks Hope to Keep the Band Together GM Stan Bowman and the Chicago Blackhawks are very eager to make sure the star component remains intact for a lengthy period of time. Were talking about how the new CBA is going to impact the superstar model of player and certainly Patrick Kane and Jonathan Toews qualify as such. No longer is it allowed to frontload and go with that 10, 12 or 15-year mega-deal. Now we know its a maximum of eight years so its not inconceivable that, as long as the salary cap climbs to around $75 million in 2016 that Kane and Toews could come in around $11-12 million each. Iginla and Alfredsson Drawn Together Jarome Iginla and Daniel Alfredsson could have an impact on each others future, depending on whether they both get what they want, which is to sign where they played last year. Iginla wants to stay with the Boston Bruins and theres talk theyre negotiating on both a two-year deal and perhaps a one-year deal maybe very similar to the contract he signed with the Bruins last year with a cap hit of $1.8 million with a bonus structure that deeply impacted the Bruins. If they cant get a deal done in Boston, then the Detroit Red Wings are among the teams that are keenly interested in Iginla as well. The Red Wings also have interest in Alfredsson, who is believed to be coming back but he hasnt made it 100 per cent certain yet. He works on his own timeframe, similar to Teemu Selanne but Im also told hes willing to be flexible. ----------------------------------------- Shopping Around Despite a good conversation between the team and his agent, Paul Stastny plans to test the free-agent market before making a decision on his future. Adrian Dater of the Denver Post spoke with Avalanche executive vice president of hockey operations Joe Sakic, who said Stastny wants to field offers before seeing if his current team will match the amounts.  Dater also reports Sakic saying that he isnt put off by Stastnys plan to field offers because hes earned the right to be in that position. Vinny On The Move? Sam Carchidi of the Philadelphia Inquirer reports that Flyers general manager Ron Hextall might be willing to move veteran forward Vincent Lecavalier if he agrees to waive his no-trade clause.   In the report, Hextall is quoted as saying hes spoken to Lecavaliers agent but would not elaborate further.  Carchidis story also talks about Flyers draft prospects and the players they are looking at selecting in the upcoming NHL Draft. Noah Hanifin Jersey . 3 seed Phillip Kohlschreiber from Germany. Defending champion Marin Cilic also reached the semifinals -- his fourth in Zagreb -- defeating fellow Croat Ivan Dodig. German qualifier Bjorn Phau beat Dudi Sela of Israel to reach his first semifinals in nearly five years. Haydn Fleury Jersey . As future stars prepare to make the big leap to the professional ranks, TSNs Draft Week delivers wall-to-wall coverage of both the NHL and NBA Entry Drafts, highlighted by exclusive live coverage of both events. http://www.hurricanesauthority.com/authentic-jeff-skinner-hurricanes-jersey/ . -- New England Patriots owner Robert Kraft wanted to keep Logan Mankins with the team for a long time. IMATRA, Finland -- Jake Virtanen scored twice as Canada opened its defence of the under-18 mens hockey title with a 3-1 win over Sweden on Thursday. Virtanen opened the scoring at 6:45 of the first period, then gave Canada a two-goal lead with a power-play goal 1:03 into the second. Sweden cut the lead in half when Daniel Muzito Bagenda scored a power-play goal at 10:57 of thhe second. Teuvo Teravainen Jersey. Matt Barzal restored Canadas two-goal cushion with a goal 3:07 into the third period. Mason McDonald stopped 24 shots to help preserve the win. Canadas next game is Saturday against Germany. Its a case of same again for Vancouver Whitecaps. Justin Morneau Jersey . After a successful switch in formation for last weeks home win over Houston Dynamo, Caps head coach Carl Robinson is expected to keep the same lineup for their match against Colorado Rapids at BC Place (Saturday at 3:30pm pt live on CTV BC). We have seen many good qualities from Robinson in his opening months as a rookie head coach, the latest being just last week when he showed a willingness to change. The Whitecaps had played his preferred 4-2-3-1 formation in the opening three matches, but needed to find a way to get the best out of forward Kenny Miller and also Chilean midfielder Pedro Morales. So Robinson made a switch, and the diamond midfield worked well as the Whitecaps won 2-1 against the Dynamo to keep their unbeaten start to the season alive. Theres little doubt about the star of the show last week - Morales was magnificent, especially in the first half. The Designated Player was everywhere, making the most of the freedom afforded him as a central attacking midfielder, showcasing his full range of ability, highlighted by his sublime passing. A cross-field ball driven between three Houston players was the top moment for me, but his first-time cross to the head of Andy OBrien, who then set up Jordan Harvey for the first goal, was very close behind. Morales is a difference maker that the Whitecaps have been craving for some time. He excites the crowd and makes those around him more effective. His influence on games will be key to deciding how successful the Whitecaps will be this season. Another big factor will be the depth of the Caps squad. They have assembled a quality group of players that gives Robinson plenty of options and will be extremely valuable as the season progresses. It also gives him the flexibility to change both personnel and formation within games, something he has already shown he is not afraid to do. One of the positives of the 4-4-2 diamond is that Darren Mattocks and Kenny Miller are both able to play in their favoured positions up front. Miller was less effective when playing wide as one of the three attacking midfielders in a 4-2-3-1, but his experience alongside the youth of Mattocks is important for the Whitecaps and against Houston, the partnership worked well. Other positives last week included a strong performance from goalkeeper David Ousted, more excellent work from young Argentine Matias Laba in his role as a defensive midfield destroyer, and solid displays from both fullbacks Jordan Harvey and Steven Beitashour. Everything seemed to work against Houston. Now the Whitecaps look for similar success against a Colorado side that is 1-1-1 through its first three matches. They have scored five goals, but all of them have been a result of penalties, four scored by Vincente Sanchez, and one rebound after Deshorn Brown saw his spot kick initially saved. Being awarded five penalties in just three games sets a new MLS record, but finishing chances from the run of play is something the Rapids have been struggling with through the first three matches (1-1 at New York, 2-0 win home to Portland, 3-2 loss home to Kansas City). Colorado are expected to play a 4-2-3-1 formation, but Pablo Mastroenis team will be missing some key pieces in Vancouver. Former Toronto FC defender Marvell Wynne is suspended after a sending off in the loss at home to Sporting Kansas City a week ago, regular left back Chris Klute is injured, and there is also a question mark about whether veteran players such as Sanchez and Edson Buddle will play on the BC Place turf. Colorado finished three points ahead of Vancouver last season, beating the Caps to the final playoff spot in the Western Conference, although the Rapids exited at the first hurdle, losing their Knockout Round match against Seattle, 2-0. The Rapids have kept many of the same players who got them to the postseason. Spanish defensive midfielder Jose Mari is one of the new names likely to play in Vancouver as he returns from a one-match suspension picked up in just his second game in MLS as the Rapids beat Portland 2-0 at home a fortnight ago. Thomas Piermayr could make his MLS debut in defence after signing with the Rapids this week following a trial spell with the club. While most of the players are the same, there is, of course, a new coach. Mastroeni had a long and successful MLS career as a player and is now embarking on a new challenge. With two rookie coaches on the sidelines at BC Place, it will be an interesting tactical battle. The Whitecaps have equaled their best start to a season since joining Major League Soccer with eight points from their opening four matches, a win against Colorado would set a new high standard, and also lay a strong foundation ahead of back-to-back matches against LA Galaxy. Michael Pineda Jersey . Case in point: LeBron James vs. Ben McLemore. James was driving to the rim in the first quarter and McLemore decided to try to take the charge, which was quite admirable and predictably futile. Harmon Killebrew Jersey . Bjoerndalen broke the record he shared with cross-country skiing great Bjoern Daehlie, also matching his fellow Norwegians record of eight gold medals. Bjoerndalen earlier won gold in Sochi in the mens sprint biathlon. http://www.twinsrookiestore.com/Twins-Max-Kepler-Kids-Jersey/ . Grimes signed a $32 million, four-year contract to remain with Miami. The deal, which includes $16 million guaranteed, rewards Grimes for his recovery from an Achilles tendon injury that forced him to miss almost all of the 2012 season. MONTREAL -- Rachel Homan started defence of her Scotties Tournament of Hearts title in style. Homan and her Team Canada (1-0) rink from Ottawa scored four in the eighth end for an 8-3 victory over Manitobas Chelsea Carey (0-1) on Saturday night at the Maurice Richard Arena. "The team played really well in front of me," said Homan, the winner last year in Kingston, Ont. "It was a tough battle. It was 4-3 and then one big end kind of ended it. My team just really had it today." It was a nervy but successful start for Val Sweetings Alberta rink. The Sweeting team (2-0) with lead Rachel Pidherny, second Dana Ferguson and third Joanne Courtney scored three points in the ninth end for a comeback 7-5 victory over 20-year-old newcomer Sarah Koltun (0-1) of the Yukon and Northwest Territories in the opening draw. In the evening, Sweeting took the early lead, wasted it, and then scored two in an extra end for an 8-6 win over 22-year-old Kesa van Osch of British Columbia (1-1). Heather Strong (2-0) of Newfoundland used the shot of the day to edge the home team, Quebecs Allison Ross (0-2), 5-4 with a raised angle takeout on the final shot. Stefanie Lawton (1-0) of Saskatchewan downed Allison Flaxeys Ontario rink (0-1) 8-6. Koltun looked ready for an upset when she stole a point for a 4-1 lead in the fifth end to throw a scare into 26-year-old Sweeting, a youngster herself in only her second Scotties. "They were outplaying us for sure," said Sweeting. "We set up some good ends and she made some good draws to save them, but we stayed patient and had an opportunity in the ninth and took advantage. "Im happy to get out of that one with a win, but we definitely have to sharpen up. We knew we couldnt take them lightly. Its their first time here and they have nothing to lose." A miss by Koltun with her first stone in the ninth set up the decisive steal by Alberta. Sweetings rink kept the house clear in the 10th and left no chance for the Whitehorse skip to force an extra end. Koltun is the youngest skip ever to play in the Scotties and is the first to skip at the Canadian junior and Scotties championships in the same year. She went 5-4 at the juniors two weeks ago in Liverpool, N.S. with two of her three teammates at the Scotties. She skipped a record seven times at national junior championships and is considered among the risingg talents in the sport. Rod Carew Jersey. . But she may have let one get away in her debut. "We were in control at the beginning and it was just that one bad end, but its our first game at our first Scotties so well take what we can from it," said Koltun. "We are happy to be here, but we want to contend and be competitive and I think we showed that in this first game by putting up a really strong fight." Quebecs Allison Ross had a disappointing start as she failed to score until she picked up one point in the eighth end. After scoring, Ross conceded a 6-1 victory to New Brunswicks Andrea Crawford. The Quebec side from Montreal curled only 64 per cent as a group, lowest of the day. She found her draw weight in her evening match against Strong, which had the crowd of 1,825 roaring, but fell short when the Newfoundland skip pulled off her winning takeout. "I was reading the ice better," said Ross. "Its a disappointing loss, but Heather made an amazing shot. You want to leave the other team a hard shot, and she made it." Strong had won the Hot Shots competition -- a pre-tournament skills exhibition -- on Saturday morning and it may have helped her against Quebec. "A lot of the (Hot Shots) are indicative of what you face in game, so I referred back to that a lot," she said. "I felt good when I threw it, but I was coming off missing the one right before it, so I was a little torn. "We were exhausted. It was late back home. There were the opening ceremonies, we were in the Hot Shots right through. It was a long day, so to pull off that second win was awesome." Strong had won her first match as she took a 6-2 lead after six ends, then had to hold off a charge from Nova Scotias Heather Smith (0-1) for an 8-5 victory. Van Osch needed an extra end to defeat Kim Dolans Prince Edward Island rink 7-4. The 22-year-old from Victoria admitted to feeling nervous in her debut match, but settled down as it went on against the veteran Dolan, who is in her 10th Scotties. Van Osch said she hasnt set any goals for the tournament. "Were a first-year team," she said. "It was a bonus just to make it to the Scotties this year. Were taking things as they come, game by game." There are three draws scheduled for Sunday, including Team Canada against both Ontario and Quebec. 23:04ET 01-02-14 Cheap Football Norway Jerseys Cheap Nigeria Soccer Jerseys Cheap Morocco Soccer Jerseys Cheap Mexico Soccer Jerseys Cheap Japan Soccer Jerseys Cheap Italy Soccer Jerseys Cheap Germany Jerseys Authentic Cheap Mexico Jerseys Authentic Cheap Colombia Jerseys Authentic Cheap Belgium Jerseys Authentic Cheap Brazil Jerseys Authentic Cheap Argentina Jerseys Authentic Wholesale Germany Jerseys Wholesale Brazil Jerseys Wholesale Portugal Jerseys Wholesale Argentina Jerseys Wholesale Belgium Jerseys Wholesale France Jerseys Wholesale Spain Jerseys Wholesale England Jerseys ' ' '

PHILADELPHIA - The Philadelphia Flyers have gone from a team fighting for a playoff spot to one of the NHLs most dangerous contenders. Chris Sabo Jersey . Scott Hartnell and Brayden Schenn both scored in the second period, and the Flyers rallied to beat the Western Conference-leading St. Louis Blues 4-1 on Saturday for their fifth straight win. Jakub Voracek and Wayne Simmonds added goals in the third period, and Steve Mason made 32 saves to help Philadelphia improve to 12-2-1 in its last 15 games and maintain its hold on second place in the Metropolitan Division. "I think we showed the league we can play with everyone and we can beat everybody," Voracek said. "Its going to give us some more confidence." The Blues clinched a playoff berth despite the loss, the first Western Conference team to do so, as a result of Phoenixs 4-2 loss to Boston later Saturday. St. Louis Jaden Schwartz opened the scoring 6:23 into the game, finishing a 2-on-1, short-handed opportunity after taking a feed from Kevin Shattenkirk. Schwartzs wrist shot from close range went under Masons glove. The Blues again missed a chance to secure a playoff spot. One point would have made St. Louis the first Western club to qualify for the post-season. Ryan Miller made only 15 saves and lost for the second time since being acquired by the Blues from Buffalo on Feb. 28. Miller was beaten 4-0 by Chicago on Wednesday in a game in which he was pulled after allowing four goals on 27 shots. He is 7-2-1 with St. Louis. The Blues went 0-for-7 on the power play. "Our level of determination in the offensive zone isnt what its going to need to be to beat great goaltending," St. Louis coach Ken Hitchcock said. "Were going to have to find a way to get to a much higher level of compete in the offensive zone." The Flyers dominated the second period when they erased a 1-0 deficit. Hartnell tied it 57 seconds in when he finished from right in front of the crease after a cross-ice pass from Voracek. Miller appeared to try to stop the pass and was caught slightly out of position. Hartnell fired a wrister high into the open side of the net. Schenn put Philadelphia ahead 2-1 when he scored off a rebound with 6:36 left in the period. Simmonds took the initial shot after receiving a pass from Schenn. The rebound went right to Schenn, who put a backhander high over the sprawling goalie. "(Simmonds) hit me in a good spot trying to go through my arm, and it pops up (to Schenn)," Miller said. Mason preserved Philadelphias one-goal lead with a pair of strong saves on Derek Roy with nine minutes remaining during a power play. Schwartz took the initial shot, and the rebound went to Roy, who was stopped by Masons pads on his first attempt and the goalies glove on the second. "I was able to reach back and keep swatting at it," Mason said. "Saves that needed to be made." Voracek provided a cushion when he beat Miller high to the stick side with 4:19 left. Hartnell stole the puck along the boards, fed it into the right circle to Claude Giroux, who passed it the open Voracek. "Were really playing like a team right now and thats why were successful. It really is," Flyers coach Craig Berube said. "Were coming. Our team is getting to where we need to get to to be successful." Simmonds sealed Philadelphias latest win when he scored into an empty net with 2:54 remaining. "Were proving were a good hockey team," Mason said. "Were beating the teams that, come playoff time, youre going to have go through to get to the ultimate goal." Flyers winger Steve Downie was lost for the game with an upper-body injury after a collision with St. Louis Patrik Berglund early in the game. Downie had his head turned when he skated into Berglund near the boards at centre ice. Downie missed four games this season after sustaining a concussion during a fight on Nov. 2. The Flyers said he would be re-evaluated on Sunday. Giroux had four of Philadelphias 10 penalties. His eight penalty minutes matched one-quarter of the total (32) he had this season before Saturday. NOTES: St. Louis LW Magnus Paajarvi returned after missing three games because of an upper-body injury. The Blues remained without D Jordan Leopold (ankle) and RW Vladimir Tarasenko (hand). ... It was the first meeting between the teams since Oct. 22, 2011, when the Blues won 4-2 in Philadelphia. They will meet again on April 1 in St. Louis. ... After playing with a plain white mask in his first nine games with St. Louis, Miller unveiled a music-themed mask on Saturday. ... Blues RW T.J. Oshie, who entered with a team-best 54 points, went to the locker room with 11 minutes remaining after blocking a slap shot from Simmonds but later returned. . The Flyers announced after the game that LW Michael Raffl signed a multiyear contract extension. Ken Griffey Jersey . - The Cleveland Indians will place centerfielder Michael Bourn on the disabled list before their opener at Oakland on March 31. Billy Hamilton Jersey . The 48th-ranked Williams made her first appearance in Dubai since she won her second straight title here in 2010. Shed missed the last three years either because of injury or Sjogrens Syndrome. http://www.redsgearshop.com/Reds-Jose-Peraza-Kids-Jersey/ . Stevenson scored the first three goals of the game in the first period for Regina (35-22-6), which has won eight of its last 10 games. Patrick DAmico added two for the Pats, Braden Christoffer had a single and Morgan Klimchuk chipped in a goal and four assists.LOS ANGELES -- A former assistant coach for the Golden State Warriors reportedly recorded conversations of coaches and players without their knowledge before being fired by the team earlier this month. ESPN, citing anonymous sources, reported Tuesday that Darren Erman secretly recorded coaches meetings, conversations between coaches and players, and informal discussions. Its unclear what Erman did with the alleged recordings. Golden State fired Erman on April 5 for what the team called a "violation of company policy." The Warriors neither confirmed nor denied the report Tuesday, saying only that they "were unaware of the violation, and when made aware, we took immediate action." Erman already has landed a job with another team. A spokesman for the Boston Celtics confirmed to The Associated Press that the team hired Erman as an NBA scout. Erman was in his third season with the Warriors after spending four years with the Celtics, where he worked under Doc Rivers, who is now the coach of the Los Angeles Clippers. Erman also coached the Warriors summer league championship team in Las Vegas last year. Barry Larkin Jersey. Erman was the second assistant dismissed from Mark Jacksons staff this season. Jackson reassigned Brian Scalabrine -- a former Celtics player -- to the teams NBA Development League affiliate in Santa Cruz on March 25 because of what Jackson called a "difference in philosophies." At Golden States shootaround before Game 5 in Los Angeles on Tuesday, Jackson declined comment when asked about the reports but said Erman is "an outstanding coach who did a great job." Jackson also reiterated that the moves involving two of his assistants -- which have fueled discussion about his own job status after the season -- are not representative of a dysfunctional atmosphere on his staff. "There was no dysfunction," Jackson said. "I had a great staff. Its been a great year, and we are 2-2 with an opportunity to win Game 5 against this Clippers team. Its been a great year for us on the court, and we are together as a staff and as a team. Nothing has changed. "You can make a mistake. That doesnt mean thats my dysfunction. Its documented." Three key battles as Liverpool take on Man City - including a tussle between this 148-goal superstar and £75m powerhouse

sbobet24 Liverpool vs Manchester City - Three key battles that could decide the game
Jurgen Klopp's men were going great guns in the Premier League with six wins out of six and recorded their best-ever start to a Premier League season. The Reds successfully replicated their domestic form in the UEFA Champions League with a stunning 3-2 victory over Paris Saint-Germain on matchday one.

But since then, the Reds have just suffered a slight dip in form. A 2-1 defeat in the Carabao Cup at the hands against Chelsea was followed by a satisfactory 1-1 draw against the Blues the following weekend. However, Liverpool were outplayed by Napoli in the Champions League as the Reds crumbled to a 1-0 defeat, courtesy a last-minute winner by Lorenzo Insigne.

Leroy Sane vs Trent Alexander-Arnold
Leroy Sane was one of the cornerstones of City's stellar season last time around but he found regular minutes hard to come by in the first few games. However, the German has proved his worth after being reinstated in the starting line-up. sbobet24 He has troubled defenders with his tireless running down the left. Not only has he made purposeful runs but has also linked up well with the likes of Sergio Aguero and David Silva. He has been great with his deliveries into the box and was by far City's most impressive player against Hoffenheim in the Champions League.

Trent Alexander-Arnold has grown into one of the best young full-backs in England. He has been influential with his contribution in both halves of the pitch. Strong on the tackle and quick to read the game, the youngster is likely to give Leroy Sane a good run for his money. However, he has struggled with his positioning in the previous two games which might just give the German an edge in this duel.

Sergio Aguero vs Virgil van Dijk
Sunday's encounter is also set to witness the battle between arguably the best No.9 and the best centre-back in the Premier League. While van Dijk, who joined Liverpool for £75m, ticks all the boxes for a complete defender, Sergio Aguero has all the attributes of a complete centre-forward.

Both these men have been in tremendous form this season. Aguero, who has cumulatively scored 148 goals in the Premier League, has already netted five goals so far. sbobet24 The Dutchman, on the other hand, has helped his team keep four clean sheets in the Premier League this season. However, as prolific a forward as he is, Aguero is yet to score a goal at Anfield and that might just be a psychological advantage for Liverpool.

Opinion: Assessing Whether Eden Hazard Will Win The Ballon d'Or

sbobet thai Eden Hazard is entering the peak of his powers and playing very well for Chelsea at the moment. Without any second thought, we all know Hazard is one of the best in the world right now and he's there along with the best. But, does he have what it takes to win the top prize in football like Messi and Ronaldo do? To know more, let's understand his strengths and weaknesses and something about Chelsea too.

Strengths:
Hazard is always criticized for his lack of goal scoring prowess. With a return of 15 goals and 7 assists in Premiere league and Champions League last season in 35 appearances (7 Substitutes) he's not there yet with the games' best yet. But he can certainly get there in Chelsea's current system under Sarri.

Weakness:
Hazard is always criticized for his lack of goal scoring prowess. sbobet thai With a return of 15 goals and 7 assists in Premiere league and Champions League last season in 35 appearances (7 Substitutes) he's not there yet with the games' best yet. But he can certainly get there in Chelsea's current system under Sarri.

Hazard & Chelsea:
Hazard's lowest returns in the past seasons may be due to the systems he mostly played under Mourinho and Conte. Both are defensive minded coaches who mostly deploy counter-attacking tactics. This has even led Hazard to publicly express his discontent and his desire play under more attack-minded coach who was only convinced by Sarri's arrival to continue in Chelsea colours.

Under Sarri, Hazard is given more freedom to roam all over the pitch and he is also free of any defensive duties. He is enjoying his life under the new manager and has already matched half of his goals tally from last campaign (6 Goals). sbobet thai In this current form and under Sarri, Hazard can be one of the best and maybe even the best in the world in the coming years.

Liverpool v Manchester City: How the front threes operate differently

บอล ส เต็ ป Liverpool and Manchester City both play with a front three, but how do they operate differently? Danny Higginbotham offers his tactical insight ahead of the Super Sunday's clash on Sky Sports Premier League. mMohamed Salah, Roberto Firmino and Sadio Mane have started all seven Premier League games up front for Liverpool so far this season, scoring nine goals between them.

Meanwhile, City's front three is more interchangeable, with one of Sergio Aguero or Gabriel Jesus the focal point up top, while Raheem Sterling and Leroy Sane are often favoured out wide ahead of Riyad Mahrez. Opposing managers Jurgen Klopp and Pep Guardiola will focus heavily on quelling the other's attack, but that is easier said than done. Here, Higginbotham outlines the challenges facing both defences at Anfield on Super Sunday.

Liverpool: Firmino's selfless play
"It's a similar system, played in very different ways, บอล ส เต็ ป " Higginbotham told Sky Sports News, with Liverpool relying on the movement of both Firmino and Naby Keita - who is expected to be fit for Sunday's match - to create space for Salah and Mane in behind. "Keita and Firmino's movement is excellent, especially off the ball in Firmino's case.

"We talk about Firmino being a very selfless player, and we know Salah and Mane start out wide and like to drive inside. Firmino drops deep continuously because he tries to drag centre-backs with him into areas they don't want to go into. บอล ส เต็ ป "That then leaves room for Salah or Mane to have one-v-one situations, while Keita has reversed roles with Firmino.
